This should be a fun one between a couple of Sun Belt teams that have strong offenses. The James Madison Dukes are new to the FBS, but they bring with them a loaded offense that averaged 38.3 ppg last year at the FCS level. Yes, they lost some talent from that team, but still, the Dukes have put up 44 and 63 points in their first two games. Appalachian State scored just 17 points in their game against Texas A&M, but that was vs an SEC defense. Against North Carolina and Troy, teams without great defenses, they put up 61 and 32 points respectively. The Mountaineers are usually known for having a good defense, but that was not the case against Troy and North Carolina as they allowed a combined 91 points in those games. I can see this one getting into a shootout as both teams will flash much more offense than defense and the clincher is the fact that the Over is 8-3 in Appalachian State's last 11 games following an ATS loss.
