Many of you that have been following me over the years know that I am not afraid to play a College Under with a low OU Line, especially in a game the Aztecs are involved in. San Diego State is a team that plays at a slow pace on offense, while their defense is always one of the best in the nation. The Aztecs have actually been a bit inconsistent on defense this year but they did hold a strong Toledo offense to jjust 14 ;points last week and will be taking on a Boise state offense that has really struggled in the early. The Broncos have struggled so much on offense that they already fired their offensive coordinator. Boise State scored just 10 points in a loss to UTEP and they have now averaged just 22.0 ppg on the year. that is a TD less per game than they put up a year ago. The Broncos are 122nd in total offense, 114th in passing and 106th in rushing, so this offense is struggling at all levels. the Aztecs have not been good on offense either as they are 117th in total yards, 130th in passing and 111th in scoring at 20.5 ppg. San Diego State will run the ball a ton as they are 18th in rushing and that will help bleed the clock. Now, Boise has struggled on offense, but not on defense as they are 15th in total yards allowed, 13th against the pass, 31st against the run and 43rd in points allwed at 20.5 ppg. Frankly, I don't see either team hitting 20 points in this one. Lastly, the Under is 20-6 in San Diego State's last 26 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game and 10-1 in Boise State's last 11 games overall.
