This is a Rebels team that runs what they call their “Go-Go” offense. But, unlike a lot of up-tempo offenses, UNLV emphasizes the run. Their goal is to keep the defense from switching personnel and then keep hitting them until they break a big one. When they do throw the ball, they have an excellent receiver in senior Jacob De Jesus, who caught two TDs in the opener against Houston.
Their defense hasn’t really been tested and while Jalen Daniels had a forgettable game last week against Illinois, he is too talented not to bounce back. I think this is a prime spot for it.

These two teams played in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl and the Jayhawks came away with a 49-36 win. We may not see 85 points today but we should definitely see north of 60.
