Knicks did a nice job with the dreadful Mavericks last night, but now they get a Clippers team that has won 5 of L6 and covered the number in all six. NY has done a good job at home against the dregs but it’s been a very different story against teams in the top six in both conferences. The Clippers have a little more motivation, standing just a half-game back of the Warriors for the 6 seed in the West, while the Knicks are pretty comfortably ensconced in the place in the conference. Rest also favors the Clips, who haven’t played since Sunday and are taking on a New York team on a back-to-back.
