The Gators have looked like the better team over the last couple of months. The Tigers have become a little too one-dimensional, counting on Broome to carry the team. Their two guards, Chad Baker-Mazara and Miles Kelly, have stumbled lately. Baker-Mazara has been held below 10 points in six of his last seven games, while Kelly is averaging just 6.0 ppg and shooting 5-27 from the field over the last three contests. These teams met in early February, and after the Gators jumped out to an early lead, it was all Auburn. The Tigers took a 10-point HT lead and were never threatened in the second half, before ultimately winning by 9. Nothing happened in that game that was some kind of non-repeatable outlier. I think the Gators are a better team and will prove it again tonight.
