Chris Paddack has not been good this season. In fact, between injuries and poor performances, you could make the case that he really hasn’t been good since 2019. His season was cut short in July last year with arm fatigue, and his two starts this season have been dreadful, 14.73 ERA 2.59 WHIP, and the opposition has ended up with nine runs in each of his starts. Jobe’s numbers aren’t great, but they are more in line with where a 4th or 5th starter should be, and the Tigers have won both of his starts. The Twins join Pit and ChW as the only teams that are hitting below .200, not a great neighborhood to be in. Wrong team favored today.
