Total: 208.50 | -106.00 Over

This is a 10* O/U COAST-TO-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Boston Celtics and the San Antonio Spurs.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn sounds. Boston comes to town red hot and out for revenge after a 111-89 setback on November 30th to Spurs on its home floor. The C's line-up looks a lot different now than it did then, the offensive focal point is 7-footer Tyler Zeller who is averaging 18.7 points on 75.8 percent shooting over his last three. Boston though will have to play its sixth straight game without guard Isaiah Thomas. San Antonio would lose to the Knicks 104-100 in OT on Tuesday but then rebound the following night in a 114-103 victory at Milwaukee. Boston likes to play at a higher-tempo, but note that it's seen the total go UNDER the number in six of its last nine vs. teams with winning records and in 23 of 41 when playing the role of underdog. And note that the defending champs have seen the total stay below the posted number in seven of their last 12 vs. teams with losing records and in 14 of 25 non-conference games. These teams are coming off some pretty high-scoring affairs but with the finish line for the regular season in site and with playoff positioning a very real thing, I think the conditions are finally right for a a tighter-game this evening, which will in turn lead to a lower-scoring UNDER in this one.
