This is an *8* play on the Minnesota Vikings.

The 6-5 Seattle Seahawks come into Minnesota to face the 8-3 Vikings, and the visitors are the favorite. The Vikings are sitting in first place in the NFC North, and I don't think they are getting enough respect from bookmakers here at home this week. The public is still in love with the Seahawks, but I think the sharp money is backing the Vikings at home.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Boom or Bust? - The so called Legion of Boom has not impressed over the last three weeks. Seattle's secondary ranks dead last in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game. They are 24th in opponent QBR and 26th in sack percentage.

2. Previous History - The Seahawks have beaten up on inferior opposition, but they've struggled against quality opponents, going 1-5-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

3. X-Factor - The Seahawks will be without two key players with Marshawn Lynch and Jimmy Graham both sidelined by injuries.
