*6* LATE SHOW SPECIAL on Dallas Stars.

The Dallas Stars are back home at American Airlines Center after a four-game road-trip which saw them go 2-0-2. They lost 2-1 in OT at Edmonton Friday, but I like their chances of bouncing back with a win tonight as they host the Carolina Hurricanes.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Canes D - Carolina has allowed at least four goals in four of its last five games and it ranks among the worst for the season with 3.0 goals allowed per game. Neither Cam Ward or backup Eddie Lack have had much success, and whoever is tending the net will be put to the test by the Stars top rated offense.

2. Home Cookin' - The Stars are a solid 9-3-0 home at American Airlines Center this season and they've won 10 of the last 11 head-to-head meetings when hosting the Canes.

3. X-Factor - Dallas' Kari Lehtonen has won seven straight starts behind a 1.98 GAA and is likely to be back in net after Antti Niemi got the nod Friday.
