The Miami Dolphins are hosting the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, and neither of these teams has played particularly well in recent weeks. The Dolphins edged out Baltimore in a 15-13 home win last week, while the Giants have lost three straight. I expect tonight's game to be a low scoring battle, and the total looks a little inflated considering how both teams have struggled offensively.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - These teams have played six times since 1990, and all six of those games went under the total. The Dolphins have failed to reach the total in three of their last four games, and two of those three games were at home in Miami.

2. Ryan Tannehill - The Dolphins quarterback threw for just 86 yards with one TD on 9-of-19 passing in last week's game against Baltimore. He ranks 31st in the NFL in QBR, only Nick Foles ranks worse, and he's already lost his job in St. Louis.

3. X-Factor - The Giants have failed to reach the total in 13 of their last 18 games on grass.
