*10* TOTAL OF WEEK on OVER Sharks/Kings.

Two teams going through a rough stretch of their schedule will face off at Staples Center Tuesday night when the Los Angeles Kings will host local rivals the San Jose Sharks. This game has alot of signs pointing towards a high-scoring contest, and I recommend a play on the OVER.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Situational - The Kings are returning home to L.A. after a six-game road-trip and the over is 3-0-1 in their last four home games following a road trip of seven or more days. They wrapped up the trek with a 5-0 loss at Toronto, but the over is 4-1-2 in their last seven after scoring two goals or less in their previous game. The Sharks have had a very busy schedule of late and the over is 9-1-1 in their last 11 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 days situation.

2. Road Warriors - The Sharks are averaging 2.90 goals per game on the road which can be compared to a 2.64 mark home in the Shark Tank. Five of their last six away from home have climbed over the total.

3. X-Factor - San Jose's Joe Pavelski has eight points evenly divided between goals and assists in his last six games overall and he's 1+3 in the first two meetings with the Kings for the season.
