The set-up: Morehead State is 3-5 and Marshall is 5-4. Two hungry non-conference sides collide on Monday night and in my opinion, points are going to be at a premium. Morehead State comes in off a blowout of lowly Chillicothe, but it'll have its hands full with a much more talented Herd side. In the win for the Eagles, Djimon Henson had 23 points, three boards and three assists. Marshall's struggled against the "better" competition it's faced and in its most recently loss to Toledo, Jon Elmore was a bright spot with 21 points. From a situational stand point, I think this one sets up great as a lower-scoring defensive battle between these two focused sides.

The pick: Take it for what you will as well, but Morehead State has seen the total go "under" the number in its last two games when playing with seven or more days worth of rest, while Marshall has seen the total go "under" in seven of its last ten after allowing 75 points or more in three straight outings. This number is high, play the "under."
