The set-up: These are two of the worst teams in the NBA and when the smoke does finally clear, I believe this total will stay well below the posted number. Both teams come in off losses. Both teams have plenty of young talent, but each is still very much in a re-building mode. Offensive consistency from game to game has hurt these teams the most this season though.

The pick: In fact note that the Knicks haven't posted more than 106 points in four of their last five games. I expect these ineffecient teams to fight hard, but I look for this total to stay well under once the final horn sounds.
