The set-up: Here's a great "common sense" play. Sometimes I absolutely break down every single angle of the contest, looking at past stats, trends, scheduling, revenge and anything else I can get my hands on, but other times I believe that a more "common sense" approach is the way to go. And that's the case here.

The pick: St. Louis looks primed for a letdown after three straight victories. The Wild on the other hand play with revenge here at home after falling 3-2 in OT at St. Louis two nights ago. Minnesota has lost two in a row and three of its last four, so I expect it to come out with a much better effort here. The Wild's numbers are superior and they play with revenge and a sense of urgency. All things considered, I think this is the very definition of "great line value."
