We get 1-1 Stanford vs 2-0 Syracuse here, and this is the first head-to-head matchup between the two teams. Stanford comes in off a bye week, they beat FCS Cal Poly on September 7th, and lost 34-27 to TCU back in August. Stanford gave up 353 yards passing to Syracuse in that TCU game, and we think they struggle here vs Kyle McCord and the Orange, as McCord has already carved up Georgia Tech and Ohio for over 350 each game, so I like the Orange to move the ball through the air. Syracuse has Holy Cross on deck so this is not a lookahead spot for them, whereas Stanford has Clemson on deck so they might be looking ahead to that game. Syracuse looked very impressive in their win over Georgia Tech and I think they come in focused here at home and put the pedal to the metal. Let's roll with Syracuse.
