This is a classic sandwich game. Texas A&M is of course off an emotional loss to Alabama, now laying a ton to an instate rival. After this game the Aggies play two tough road games at currently undefeated teams Arkansas and Ole Miss. Though they have one week off between those two road games, with A&M solid ensconced in the SEC, this non-conference contest is a big sandwich game.

Though Southern Methodist has no easy one next week at TCU, they will not be looking ahead. This is their statement game just to keep it close.
