Bruins (+) over Ducks- Both these clubs are coming off blow-out losses as UCLA was crushed at home 41-10 by Utah and Oregon was wasted 44-15 at Arizona. The Ducks fall is more dramatic as they were expected to contend for the Pac-12 title while the young Bruins squad was considered an also-ran. Their issues started with an inconsistent running game and with the injury to quarterback Justin Herbert who missed last year's 31-10 loss at UCLA and in concussion protocol this week. Either way already with three losses the Ducks realize a New Year's Day Bowl game is out and they carry that disappointment in to this contest. Take U.C.L.A.
