Spartans (+) over Ducks- How can this be? How can Michigan State with its limited scoring offense putting up less than 20-points a game keep up with the high-flying Ducks scoring 37.2 points a contest. To make matters worse for the Spartans Oregon's All-Everything quarterback Justin Herbert has announced that he will return next season and that puts more pressure on MSU's vulnerable secondary. The only hope for the Spartans offense is the return of a healthy Brain Lewerke back in his starting spot. Both clubs were major disappointments to their backers each going 4-8 ATS. Now, with this 'line' this low it can only mean that State will control the ball on the ground and the return of Lewerke to prove more efficient. But, history is a strong supporter of the Spartans as the Big Ten is 10-0 ATS against Pac-12 since 2014 and MSU is 5-0 ATS in their last five Bowl games while Oregon is 0-4 ATS in their last four against non-conference foes.
