Pirates over Cardinals- The last time I tried this the Pirates blew a 4-0 7th inning lead and folded in extra-innings 6-5 to the Cardinals late surge against the Pittsburgh relief pitching. I have always been a St. Louis baseball fan and not just because I lover their 'uniforms' because of the way they have played the game over the years. Truly a fundamentally sound team that has taken on a different dimension. St. Louis has struck out a NL worst 64 times registering at least 10 strikeouts in all five games and are up against a nemesis from last season. The Pirates' Jameson Taillon had three starts against the Cards last season and was 2-0 with a 2.11 ERA. Take PITTSBURGH!
