Royals over Mariners- Streaks are a key to winning baseball during the long season and are a strong factor in turning a profit. Kansas City has dropped six straight after opening the season with a pair of wins over the White Sox and have also dropped their last five meetings against Seattle. The Mariners will start 'King' Felix Hernandez (1-0, 1.69 ERA) who is off of the worst season of his career (8-14, 5.06 ERA) while going 2-0 against the Royals last year. Kansas City returns home after getting swept at Minnesota (0-2) and Detroit (0-3) and will start Homer Bailey (yes THAT Homer Bailey) who was traded to KC after his dismal stint in Cincinnati where he was 1-14 with a 6.09 ERA in 20 starts for the Reds in 2018. Maybe getting out of that bandbox will help in pitcher friendly Kauffman Stadium where the Royals won their first two games. Take KANSAS CITY!
