Cubs over Pirates- The Cubs slow start (3-8) has some in the Windy City grumbling about Joe Madden and his future. Imagine that...the guy that led them to their only World Series win in 111 years. Chicago's offense has been spotty so far and their pitching has been hit hard with Yu Darish and Jon Lester ailing. Pittsburgh will start Joe Musgrove (1-0. 0.00 ERA) who dominated in his lone start against Cincinnati and is 2-1 with a 1.80 ERA against the Cubs with both wins coming last season. Chicago will start Jose Quintana (0-1, 10.29) was blasted in his lone start last Friday against Milwaukee but is 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA in five appearances against the Pirates. Add that the Cubs are 17-6 in Quintana's 23 home starts. Take CHICAGO!
