Philadelphia at New York Mets 7:10 ET
Mets over Phillies- Despite Sunday's beating I really have confidence in 'our' strongest play today as the Mets host Philadelphia at Citi Field. Okay here's the deal, Steven Matz (1-1, 4.96 ERA) was having a great spring until he ran into this Philly lineup last Tuesday surrendering eight runs without recording an out (6 earned) allowing all eight batter to reach base. This exact situation presented itself to 'us' last week between the Dodgers and Brewers and it was an easy Megabucks winner, I expect the same here. Philadelphia is just 3-7 in their last 10 in New York. Although, the Mets have dropped six of eight they return to start a 10-game home stand. Look for the Mets and Matz to bounce back here in a BIG way. Take NEW YORK!
