Cardinals over Cubs- The NL's fiercest rivalry continues in Chicago where the Cubs will host the gated Cardinals. Last week these two played a 3-game set in St . Louis as the Cards swept all three games and yesterday the Cubs took game one of this 3-game set in Wrigley Field and now the home team has won seven meetings this year. The Red-Birds will start Jack Flaherty (4-3, 3.76 ERA) started slowly but has allowed just two runs in his last two outings striking out 15 while walking nine including five shutout innings against the Cubs. Chicago will start veteran Jon Lester (4-4, 3.32) who is 7-5 lifetime with a 2.85 ERA against the Cardinals. Although St. Louis is 2-7 in Flaherty road starts and 6-20 in their last 26 at Chicago and yet they are favored here. Lester other than his last start has been rather inconsistent and falls short here. Take ST. LOUIS!
