Royals over Tigers- These two are battling each other to stay out of the basement in the AL Central as they both will struggle this year trying to rebuild. Detroit has lost six of their last eight and are getting thin with their starting pitching while the Royals have lost eight of their last nine games scoring two or less runs six times. The Tigers will start Spencer Turnbull (3-5, 3.01 ERA) who has allowed three runs or fewer in 12 of 13 starts completing six or more innings only six times. Kansas City will start hard throwing Jakob Junis (4-6, 5.63) who was rocked by the Red Sox last time out but is 6-1 with a 3.27 ERA in nine appearances against the Tigers. Take KANSAS CITY!
