Panthers (+) over Chiefs- Kansas City at 7-1 is running away from the rest of the AFC West already with a 2.5-game lead over the Raiders with everyone else in the Division below .500. After a bye week, oops the Chiefs did face the Jets and flew higher with five touchdowns through the air. Usually, the first thing you think of about KC is their offense but, there defense is top-10 and they are No. 3 in points allowed with 19. Carolina has dropped their last three and really got 'hosed' by officials in their Thursday night loss to Atlanta and after 11 days off they should be chomping the bit and ready to go along with Christian McCaffrey who returns today. The Panthers can be competitive as they are 4-0 ATS under Matt Rhule and Carolina rules the points here. Take the PANTHERS!
