Marlins over Mets- New York opened the season as expected even defeating last season’s Cy Young Award winner in Sandy Alcantara 5-3 in their Opener. Mets ace Max Scherzer picked up the win as the they rallied late to win. Miami is team of unknowns once again and once again they have talent nobody has heard of as of yet. Tonight’s starter for the Marlins is Jesus Luzardo who was just 4-07 last season threw to a 3.32 ERA, but get this! In 100.3 innings he surrendered just 69 hits with 120 strikeouts. Do the MATH!
