Yankees over Rangers- new York is looking to gain a split of this four-game series after dropping the last two scoring just two runs in the last two and only six for the three games. Yankee bats have gone silent with Judge and Stanton sidelined but, today they will send their most effective starter over the past two seasons and that is Nestor Cortes (3-1, 3.49 ERA) who has allowed three runs or less in 17 consecutive starts. Martin Perez (3-1, 2.60) gets the nod for Texas and the left-hander is just 2-5 with a 5.80 ERA in 11 starts against the Yankees.
