Atlanta at New York Mets 1:40 ET
Metropolitans over Braves- I know I’m the guy that pick the Braves to win the NL flag but that is a long way down the road yet, but the Mets are finding out real quick what it takes to win in the very tough NL East. Atlanta won the opener between these two 4-0 Friday and rain pushed Saturday starter Spenser Strider (3-0, 1.80 ERA) into taking the mound today along with New York right-hander Tylor McGill (3-1, 3.96). Strider is 2-1 with a 4.30 ERA in five games against the Nets while McGill is 1-1 with a 3.86 ERA in five starts. It is time for New York to step up with the big boys as Atlanta enters winning nine of 10 on the road and the last five meetings. Too much for me...sounds like overkill. Take MY METS!
