White Sox over Rangers- Baseball is such a game of streaks not only for teams but for individual players as well. We recently have seen the A’s and Reds two very weak teams pull off long winning streaks and usually another streak follows and in the other direction. Nathan Eovaldi (9-3, 2.59 ERA) may be the victim as he just had an eight game winning streak end despite pitching well against the Angles last Thursday (Power Play loss). At 12-games under .500 Chicago is a major disappointment in the AL Central and will send a negative streaker in Dylan Cease (3-3, 4.31) whose White Sox have lost seven of his nine starts whether is receives a decision or not. Cease is 3-0 with a 2.66 ERA in four career starts against the Rangers and Eovaldi is 2-2 with a 5.57 ERA in five games against the Pale Hose. This time it is the WHITE SOX!
