The Tigers will struggle here vs Notre Dame - and even Travis Etienne
will have some issues, as well, since Notre Dame will be all over him
from the snap. Clemson will not be able to blow by Notre Dame or split
outside, especially when Khalid Kareem gets involved. The Irish will
need to stop the running game early in the running lanes - as long as
Etienne doesn't get in the open field, they will be fine.
The Irish are huge on the defensive line and I think they matchup well.


Notre Dame makes some mistakes, but they show great
flashes of talent. 8 games of holding opponents to 17 or less is not a
fluke - their D has been getting better each of the last 3 seasons,
now it all comes together for them. Clemson is going to have a hard
time holding down their aggressive squad flying around the field.
