VT won their final 2 games to bring their record to 6-6 and become Bowl eligible.

The Hokies aren't a great team, but they're a Power Five team that's coming in to this game having played a lot better in its last two games of the season than it had been most of the year with solid defense and great Special Teams. Cincy is coming off a 50 pt win and this is way the spread is a little high.
Virginia Tech has to be happier about this bowl matchup than Cincinnati and we feel the Bearcats could possibly be on upset watch as a result. Virginia Tech carries a lot of positive momentum into this game and we like the Hokies to push for the upset as they cover the spread.
