SIU trailed by 21 to Northern Iowa and came all the way back to win by 8. The Salukis scored 51 after halftime and basically could not miss anything. On the flip side, Loyola is off a loss that left head coach Porter Moser shocked. He commented that he'd "never lost a game like this in my career" and I'll assume he wasn't as tactful with his team at the next practice. This box score was beyond belief. The stickup stat was rebounding. Ramblers got outboarded 28-9. I'm not even sure I've ever seen a game where a team only got nine rebounds. They also had just six assists to 14 turnovers, and scored a grand total of 11 points in the second half. I know it's obvious as hell, but this is a team we all know has a lot of pride and I have to think we get a really concerted effort here. Look for Loyola Chicago to come out strong here at home on Sunday early afternoon action.
