10* AL Game of the Week
(MLB) Boston vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -116.00 Boston (Away)
Result: Loss
David Price exited his last turn, in a Thursday night's start against the Rangers, before taking the hill for the third inning. Tonight he looks to bounce back from his worst start all season. Pineda gets the nod for the Twins. The right-hander gave up just one run, on two hits, and struck out four batters across 5.2 innings of work this past Thursday against Seattle. Prior to the outing Pineda had allowed exactly three earned runs in six consecutive starts and had given up 3+ earned in each of his last 10 turns. There is little question that his outing against Seattle was his best of the year. The concern with the Twins starter is that he hasn't progressed with each outing. He has shown zero improvement. His skills have disappeared with just 18% K and 10% SwStr. and he isn't fooling anyone anymore. I'll take the Boston RedSox here on Tuesday night!
