Jack Flaherty has dealt with longer innings and high pitch counts, but he's been solid in his last four starts, allowing four runs in 24 1/3 innings. He threw six innings of two-run ball vs. the Astros last Friday, striking out nine and walking one.

We are rolling with the Cardinals in the final game of this series to get the job done at home. The Cardinals come in red hot over the last few weeks and are 10-5 in their last 15 games. The Cubs on the flip side own the worst road record in the NL, and are 9-22 as a road underdog.
