VTech's defensive coordinator is retiring after this year and he is very good at putting a game plan together. Bud Foster has been a master at this for years. He has been there since 1987 and I believe will give the D an extra boost. The Hokies also improved on offense down the stretch as with Hendon Hooker (11-2 ratio) they went 6-1. We like Virginia Tech to continue to build off their strong close to the regular season as the Hokies go on to win and cover the spread.
