Syracuse is a team that is very underrated because they can run the ball and their defense is very good.


The Orange continue to be undervalued by the oddsmakers as evidenced by their 8-1 ATS record on the season. Syracuse is also coming off of their BYE week so 2 weeks to prepare for Louisville on the same field they lost 30-0 last year!

Louisville comes into this game off an emotional loss to Clemson last week and have now lost 4 of their last five games and banged up with injuries. The offenses for both teams are relatively even but Syracuse own a decisive advantage defensively with the 16th ranked defense in terms of yards allowed per game compared to Louisville’s 87th ranked D. Syracuse has outgained 7 of their eight FBS opponents this season by an average of +47.6YPG.

Louisville's defense doesn't seem to have what it takes and while Cunningham will get his, I can see Syracuse not only covering, but winning this outright as they need to win this game to become bowl eligible and have two top-25 opponents on deck so this is their best chance!
