This is an 8* TOTAL MADNESS on the OVER Guardians/Yanks.

The Guardians have played to three straight "unders" so far in the playoffs, beating Tampa 2-1 and 1-0 at home, before then falling 4-1 here in Game 1 of this ALDS in the Bronx.

Cleveland has to be torn right now. It's advanced to the ALDS successfully, but it's offense has been terrible to this point.

I expect this desperate visiting line-up to finally plate a few here today though, as note that Cleveland has seen the total go OVER the number in seven of its last ten in trying to avenge a road loss against an opponent in which it was held to one or less runs in.

Shane Bieber looked great in his win at home over the Rays. He's 1-0 with a 1.17 ERA.

Tampa Bay though struggled offensively down the stretch and finished in the bottom third in almost every statistical category.

The Yanks have Aaron Judge and the No. 2 ranked offense, averaging 4.98 RPG.

Nestor Cortes Jr. has been great for New York, but as I said, I think that Cleveland finally plates some runs this evening as well.

Everything points to this total eclipsing the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. The play is the OVER.
