The New Mexico Lobos are not expected to do much this year, but I still like this team and that is mostly because of their defense.Yes, they gave up 38 points to LSU last week, but just 17 points in the first half and they have allowed just 19.8 ppg on the year. The UNLV defense is stout against the run and New Mexico does like to run the ball, but the Rebels are still 112th in the nation against the pass and that will allow New Mexico to get their passing game going. UNLV has been inconsistent on offense so far and I just don't see them scoring enough to win this one easily. Lastly, the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five games in this series. Look for the Lobos to get a late TD for the backdoor cover.
