I like the Bruins in this one. I get that Washington is a strong team with a powerful offense, but the UCLA offense is no slouch as they have averaged 41.8 ppg on the year so far. UCLA nearly lost at home to South Alabama a few weeks ago and that is the reason why the Huskies are favored in this one. Still, that near loss was a wake-up call to this veteran team, which also has many former NFL coaches on its staff. That should give the Bruins an edge in preparation in this one. I also give UCLA a slight edge on defense as they have allowed just 18 ppg while Washington has allowed 19.0 ppg. The Bruins are out to show that the game against South Alabama was a fluke and they did bounce back with a 28 point win over Colorado last week. Lastly, the Huskies are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 conference games while the Bruins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games.
